When Detective Victor Sallo is called back from compassionate leave to solve a difficult case he finds himself drawn into the murky world of exotic dancers through Sue Lang, an Indigenous/Canadian on the run, willing to sacrifice all to bring the killer of her best friend to justice. But she is reckoning without the ruthless night-club owner, Boris Volkov, who will do anything to achieve his ends.
